Effect of ethanol and osmotic stress on growth of GS1.11-26. Growth on YPD plates containing different concentrations of ethanol or sorbitol was performed with a spot assay in 10-fold serial dilutions from an initial OD600 value of 0.5. The assay was performed two times with similar results using independent cultures.
