Enzymatic hydrolysis of sugarcane bagasse. MpXyn10A was incubated with bagasse in natura and differently pretreated sugarcane bagasses for 5 h in 50 mM sodium acetate buffer, pH 5.5, at 55°C. The amount of reducing sugars released was quantified as previously described by Miller [33]. BIN - bagasse in natura, BAS - bagasse pretreated with sulfuric acid, BEX - bagasse exploded, and BED - bagasse exploded and delignified.
