  1. If regulatory bounds were imposed exclusively on the reactions in the core set, the flux ranges would match those of the model with all regulatory constraints. Regulation was removed from the primary core sets to obtain secondary cores sets, and so on. Biomass regulation reduced with increasing order of core sets.
