The growth analysis of C . cellulolyticum H10 using various sugars as carbon sources. 5 g/L L-arabinose or sugar mixtures (L-arabinose + cellobiose, L-arabinose + D-xylose, or L-arabinose + D-glucose) were used as carbon sources. Cell growth was determined by monitoring the optical density at 600 nm (OD600nm, red square). The residual carbon sources in broth were measured by HPLC. Green triangle, L-arabinose; blue diamond, cellobiose; black cycle, xylose; purple square, glucose. Three independent cultivations were used to calculate average values and standard errors.
