Phylogenetic tree of members of the AKR superfamily. Amino acid sequences (AKR1 family) were found in the AKR database (https://www.med.upenn.edu/akr/), and CgAKR-1 and a related termite AKR sequence (AGM32584.1) were added. The dendrogram was generated as described by Hyndman [38]. The tree was constructed with the neighbor-joining method implemented in MEGA6.0 using 1000 bootstraps. The evolutionary distances were computed using the JTT matrix-based method and are presented as the number of amino acid substitutions per site. Evolutionary analyses were conducted in MEGA6
