Preliminary biorefinery studies. These were performed using AH22:p11α-SHAoch yeast and synthetic 7% glucose YM+His (◆) or enzyme pretreated grass juice (◊) feedstock. The arrow indicates the time point (t 10 h) at which AH22:p11α-SHAoch cultures were pelleted and resuspended in fresh feedstock. Broken line indicates maximum theoretical ethanol yield for 7% glucose. Mean values of three replicates along with associated standard deviations are shown
