Measurement of glucuronic acid and acetic acid released from 1% acetylated xylooligosaccharides from Eucalyptus (Ac-XOS). Reactions (30 µL) contained 0.5 µg of each protein in 50 mM HEPES (pH 7.0) and were incubated for 20 min at 30 °C. Glucuronic acid released was measured using the d-glucuronic acid/d-galacturonic acid (K-URONIC, Megazyme) and acetic acid released was measured using the acetic acid kit (K-ACETRM, Megazyme). n = 3; error bars correspond to standard deviation
