Influence of 2-naphthol dosage on maximal ethanol yield in SSF with 5% w/w cellulose and residual sugar concentrations in SSF liquors. EtOH yield expressed as % of theoretical yield. Residual sugar concentration = sum of residual monomeric sugars in supernatant. This includes introduced sugars, which were < 0.5 g/l in the whole slurry and < 0.25 g/l in the filtered biomass.
