The hydroxylation (HD) activity was calculated by subtracting the percentage of 1-alkene production from the total substrate conversion ratio. Results are shown as mean ± SD of two parallel experiments. In a standard assay, 1 μM of each OleT enzyme, 200 μM fatty acid substrate (C8–C20 FFAs), and 220 μM H2O2 were co-incubated in a 200-μL reaction system. The reactions were carried out at 30 °C for 2 h
