Comparison of Rhodotorula accuracy (dark grey bar) with traditional lipid extraction (light grey). Values were obtained by analysing test culture samples using the Quant2 analysis package. The samples were obtained from the cultivation of R. toruloides cultivated in a lignocellulosic hydrolysate (n = 27). The error in prediction was 2.17 for the FT-NIR model.
