The GH10 and GH48 domains acted synergistically on cellulose hydrolysis when incubated with corn straw. Corn straw (5 mg/ml) was incubated with 1.5 μM each of truncation mutants, and the reaction was carried out at 75 °C in the McIlvaine buffer (pH 6.5) for 5 h.
