Effects of enzyme supplementation modes on the release of glucose, xylose, and TRS during the fed-batch enzymatic hydrolysis. The fed-batch hydrolysis was initiated at 12% (w/v) solids loading, and 7% fresh substrate was fed four times (3, 6, 24, and 48 h) to reach 40% (w/v) solids loading.
