UV-C induced a decrease on the concentration of soluble sugars and photosynthetic parameters as Fv/Fm ratio and Chl b abundance (a). Culture biomass kept increasing after irradiation as showed the increases in cellular density (Cell/mL), culture fresh weight mL−1 (FW) and starch content (b).
