  1. Conditions, chemical composition of monosaccharides (%) and polymeric sugar contents in the remaining residue, and extracted xylan yields (with three replicates in experiments are shown. No.9, 12 and 15 with STDV 1.05 in xylan extraction yield). The cellulose and hemicellulose were calculated from the monosaccharide yields as explained in Table 2
