Elution profile (a) and SDS-PAGE analysis (b) of T. cellulolyticus culture supernatant from a Resource Q column. Protein peak fractions were eluted with a linear gradient of 0 to 0.25 M NaCl in 20 MM MES buffer (pH 6.5) and pooled into four groups (F1, F2, F3, and F4). Ten micrograms of protein were loaded per lane on SDS-PAGE analysis. CS, culture supernatant; M, protein marker; MES, 2-(N-morpholino) ethanesulfonic acid.
