Superresolution images of Pontamine Fast Scarlet 4B-stained cellulose fibrils in onion bulb scale epidermis cells. a Total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF) image of the cell surface b The section was then bleached using a strong laser light to achieve the recording of the single ’blinking’ events of the fluorophores.
