From: Cellulases without carbohydrate-binding modules in high consistency ethanol production process
Free proteins in small-scale hydrolysis of pretreated wheat straw. Two dosages of Thermoascus aurantiacus enzymes with and without the CBMs were used. Samples were analyzed after 24, 48 and 120 hours of hydrolysis. The amounts of free enzymes are expressed as the percentage of total original loaded proteins.
