The hydrolysis yield of C. homosphaera biomass after 36 h of enzymatic treatment. C. homosphaera biomass (50 mg/mL) was incubated in 50 mM citrate buffer pH 4.8 at 50°C with 1.5 IU/g of endoglucanase load and β-glucosidase loads of 7.5, 15.0, and 22.5 IU/g biomass loads by adding partially purified β-glucosidase.
