Comparison of saccharification yields as a function of the moisture content (8, 18 and 28 %) of UT-5 switchgrass during 10 wt% gaseous ammonia treatment (150–160 °C, 1 h). All of the UT-5 samples were attritor-milled for 8.5 min in a Union Process S-1 attritor mill. Each of the samples was saccharified at a 25 % solids loading for 120 h with three different concentrations of Accellerase® DUET at 6.25, 12.5 and 25 mg protein/g (glucan + xylan).
