  1. Strains were grown in 250-mL flasks containing 50-mL medium and incubated in a rotary shaker with 180 rpm at 37 °C for 24 h. The initial glucose concentration was 120 g/L, which was completely consumed by the cells at the end of culture; Data are presented as mean ± SDs of three replicates
