MtEG5A activity on viscosity reduction of 10% w/w PWS. MtEG5A was added at a loading of 100 mg enzyme/g dry substrate. Mixing was kept at 100 rpm and viscosity reduction was monitored for 1 h. Cellic® CTec2 (Novozymes) was used to compare the endoglucanase of this study with a commercial cellulase preparation regarding the liquefaction of PWS
