Cellulose content of the starting biomass and of the solid residues recovered during C. thermocellum fermentation and in fermentation controls. Cellulose content of alcohol-insoluble residue (AIR) (i.e., cell walls) of solid residue recovered after consolidated bioprocessing and in fermentation controls by A Saeman hydrolysis [21, 22] and B methylated alditol method [25].
