The lower panel shows the Na+ and K+ adducts of oligosaccharide, and ‘DP’ stands for degree of polymerization or ‘Ac’ for acetylation. None of the labelled peaks were observed in the negative control (i.e., a reaction without enzyme). Note the m/z difference of 162 observed between the peaks suggest a difference of a hexose residue.
