Effects of overexpression of selected genes on hemoglobin expression. Genes that were identified as differentially expressed genes both in the transcriptomic and proteomic analyses were overexpressed in plasmid pEC-XK99E and the effects on hemoglobin expression were determined. An empty pEC-XK99E plasmid was used as the control. Different IPTG concentrations (0.01, 0.02, and 0.1 mM) were used to induce the expression of selected genes.
