Increasing the CBM6 concentration during curdlan gel hydrolysis results in an increase in enzymatic activity. CBM6E-CBM6 was introduced in various ratios with curdlan gel (ranging from 1:200 to 1:1, w/w) before the enzyme was added into the mixture. The results are expressed as relative activities of CBM6E (a) and KfGH64 (b) against curdlan high-set gel in the absence and presence of CBM6E-CBM6.
