Comparison of the kinetic parameters of β-glucosidases measured for cellobiose and pNPG. The value of the parameter measured for cellobiose was divided by the value of the corresponding parameter measured for pNPG. kcat denotes kcat(CB)/kcat(pNPG), KM denotes KM(CB)/KM(pNPG), and kcat/KM denotes (kcat(CB)/KM(CB))/(kcat(pNPG)/KM(pNPG)). The parameter values listed in Table 5 were used for the calculation of the ratios.
