Combined effect of experimental factors. a Regression analysis for modelling the relationships between the response variable (extraction yield) and the explanatory variables (paper filter, mixing time and pellet) was conducted by fitting a regression model through the Generalized Additive Models for Location, Scale and Shape (GAMLSS) package in the R statistical computing environment. The distribution for the response variable in the GAMLSS was selected from the normal family of distributions.
